Evan Simeon attained a Bachelor of Jurisprudence in 1978 and Bachelor of Laws in 1979 from the University of Western Australia and was admitted as a Barrister and Solicitor in the Supreme Court of Western Australia in 1980.

Evan practiced as Simeon Solicitors. His clients included John Fawcett personally and the John Fawcett Foundation. Evan sold his practice in 1997 to concentrate on his personal business interests.

Evan continued with the Foundation providing legal services free of charge as a Board Member of the Foundation. He was instrumental in seeking and obtaining continuing free legal services through his close personal and business association with Michael Blakiston, the principal partner in legal firm Blakiston and Crabb.

Evan’s legal and business experience continues to assists the Executive Board of The John Fawcett Foundation.
