He became involved with the Bali Eye Clinic/John Fawcett Foundation

Win accepted responsibility for the task of arranging the transfer
of donated goods from Perth to Bali as passenger luggage, or otherwise
as required. This entailed regular contact with airlines to arrange
excess baggage and frequent contact with John Fawcett. He joined
the Executive Board of The John Fawcett Foundation in 2002.
Following the Bali bombing in October 2002, Win and his wife, Margaret,
became the "liaison contacts" for Indonesian bomb victim

of the JFF.
Win has been a regular visitor to Bali since 1988 as a holidaymaker,
and in more recent times to attend Foundation meetings.
With Margaret, Win has thoroughly enjoyed the association with JFF/YKI
and looks forward to being of assistance for many more years.
